1. Primer

Hello Mac's cream color base

Now i know this is not a conventional primer but i love they way its soo soft & smooth and makes applying eyeshadow so easy+it makes your eyeshadow colors more pigmented, like a primer and u dont need a brow highlighter (i put this on my ENITRE eyelid).
why?? The primer potion has amazing eyeshadow staying power however, i did not like the consistency of the product on my eyelid.


2.Moisturizer

Hello DHC Q10 Milk Moisturizer

why?? i like moisturizers & wanted to try something different.
this moisturizer is really light and little watery but i do love the hydration it gives my skin. There is also no SPF thats what foundation is for? i would recommend this as a night moisturizer.

3. Foundation

why?? Mac's studiofix really dehydrated my skin + revlon is so much more wallet friendly
I had a visit with my dermatologist a couple of wks ago hoping he would shed some light on why my skin was so dry when i moisturize like crazy! He insists it was b/c of my beloved Mac studiofix foundation, so i switched. First up Nars Sheer Flow foundation that i ordered from Sephora.com. I loved the it at first, till my mom noticed the color was more than a little "off" LOL so i swapped it (for a coastal scents palatte and some apt 9 jewelry).
Next up Revlon's photoready foundation which ive read some pretty great reviews from fellow and not to mention gorgeous beauty bloggers like Cydia and Nikki. I really like the coverage and they convenience of the pump, ready to go on every bottle=)
** me and Cydia wear the same NC 30 in studiofix but when i went to target i couldnt help looking at 005 thinking that looks dark so i got the 004 but when i got home maybe it wasnt so dark after all..

darrnnnn! i shouldve got the 005 LOL

no lashes=no eyelids(;

HELP is it wayy too light?

LACE Tutorial #2 Lacie Nails!

on their hands har har!


Supplies Lace (rhinestone lace optional) and a nail kit i used Nailene, it wasnt bad minor air bubbles fit my nails well +easy to apply. Make sure your kit comes with glue=)

*first off, make sure ur nails are clean and free from polish, dirt, etc..*




glue lace to the entire TIP of the nail
tip* if your lace has rhinestones position the rhinestones on the nail



After you are done cutting your lace, apply a couple coats of clear nail polish on the lace and the nail (this seals the nails and keeps the ribbon from fraying)



the first couple took me a while, but once i got the hand of it, the other 7 were a breeze lol


now apply them to your own nails with the glue!


voila! you're done uber easy right?

now go make your own!

Lace Bow Tutorial

i have received some emails about the bow shirt seen here so i decided to try and recreate the look that anyone could do *for the not so domestic goddess* like me! LOL

your supplies:

i purchased the lace at walmart the thicker lace is the one im going to use for this project and it was about $2.00 a yard which is just right. The other lace has rhinestones and will be used for an *upcoming DIY*

you can only go around your look 1x if u want a single layer bow.

take the lace by wrapping it forward

and under again

you should sew this part (yea with a needle and thread) if u want a durable bow

(this is the purpose of going around the twice)

pink on both sides of the bow for security and if you wash the shirt u can always take the bow off.

you're done! yay you!

isn't she adorable! I did her makeup using the shady lady palatte and blending Makeout Mary (on the lid) and Mischevious Marissa. I lined her eyes with black eyeliner and used Rimmel mascara. She was going to a country music concert and wanted a "fun" look i think it's very tropical(;
speaking of tropical, my bfs sister sent me [not US, because i horde all of this away before my bf even lays eyes on the package] some goodies from Hawaii..

You can even negotiate with 'em=) You can also drink coconut juice right out of a coconut and theres this little stand in the back that sells kim-chee and cuddlefish products if u stand around long enough (like me and my bf) this little old lady offers to make you some sushi! sOoOoo yummy {just make sure u have plenty of breath mints}

Sephora Love- My aren't the Generous!

As soon as my primer arrived i knew exactly what i wanted to slab all over it.. my two faced eyeshadow in Trixie..ive had this for a couple of months and was truly disapointed by the color, or lack thereof all u could see when swiped 5x were some glitter pigments here and there.
BUT NOW... i actually see the pretty iridescent purple color=D (this was only swiped 1x)
and it was quite a task wiping it off my hand too!

Next up Ren Revitalising Cream:

-straight from the box a multi bio active night cream formulated to leave your sin hydrated, nourished and revitalized.
-has Vitamin A/C/E
-ginger smell
-goes on sheer, not sticky
-will test until the .5 fl oz run then post an update=)

Ive never tried Bare Minerals before and a little frightened (im so used to my trusty liquid foundation, how the hell do i apply this stuff??) anyone got any tips?
